How Template Recommendations Work

Automatic Detection

When you scan your site, Tessa analyzes the page structure, content, and existing tracking to classify your website type with AI confidence scoring.

Manual Override

If the AI classification isn't right, you can select any template manually. Your choice overrides the AI detection and updates all recommendations.

Customization

Templates are starting points! You can add custom events, remove ones you don't need, and modify parameters to match your specific tracking requirements.

Implementation Guidance

For each recommended event, Tessa provides implementation guidance, example code, and can verify if it's already firing on your site.

Event Priority Levels

Required

Critical events needed to measure core business metrics. Without these, you can't track conversions or revenue accurately.

Recommended

Important events that provide valuable insights into user behavior and help optimize conversion funnels.

Optional

Nice-to-have events for advanced analytics and deeper user insights. Implement these after core tracking is solid.
